Abstract:
According to the present invention, information about the present integrated mileage (mile) is acquired from a vehicle, and a standard abrasion amount is calculated by multiplying the integrated mileage by the standard abrasion amount coefficient of a brake lining. Further, a brake temperature (FBT) at the end time of a brake cycle is acquired, and an abrasion rate coefficient (X(FBT)) is acquired on the basis of the brake temperature (FBT) and data on the abrasion rate characteristics of the brake lining. The standard abrasion amount is corrected by using the abrasion rate coefficient (X(FBT)), and the appropriate value of the current abrasion amount is calculated. Since a process with a large load such as an integration process is unnecessary, the abrasion amount can be detected at low cost. Since an estimated value is corrected in consideration of the brake temperature (FBT) and the abrasion rate characteristics, estimation errors can be reduced.
