Abstract:
[Problem] To heighten the contact efficiency between a fragrance and body fluid, to make it possible to generate scent effectively by a small amount of fragrance, as well as to simplify the production process. [Solution] A pulp raw sheet (4) is defibrated, an absorbent (6) obtained by laminating a defibrated, pulverized pulp (5) is provided, and a fragrance (3) is added to the pulp raw sheet (4) prior to defibration. A production process includes a papermaking step for obtaining a pulp raw sheet (4) by forming wet paper (2) from a raw material (P), adding fragrance (3) to this wet paper (2), and removing water and drying this wet paper (2), and an absorbent article processing step for defibrating this pulp raw sheet (4) and producing an absorbent (6) by laminating this defibrated, pulverized pulp (5).
