Abstract:
Provided is an absorbent article which can surely prevent liquid leakage from the rear section thereof and improve fittability to the wearer's body. A sanitation napkin (1) provided with a lengthwise separate sheet (100), said separate sheet being separated from an absorbent (40) and having a hydrophilic or liquid-absorbing nature. The thickness of the separate sheet (100) is less than the thickness of the absorbent (40). One surface of the separate sheet (100) is separably adhered to the surface of the clothing side of a back face sheet (30), and the longitudinal direction of the separate sheet (100) runs along the longitudinal direction of the main absorbent body. The separate sheet (100) includes a separate-sheet joining part (120) that is to be joined with the main absorbent body. The separate sheet (100) is joined with the main absorbent body in such a manner that the separate sheet (100) can be spread backward from the main absorbent body with the separate-sheet joining part (120) as the base point.
