Abstract:
The present invention is an absorbent article (1) having a top sheet (2), a back sheet (3), and an absorbent core (4) disposed therebetween, and wherein a flap sheet (5) having a central region (C) in the front-back direction (y), an end region (E), and intermediate region (M) positioned therebetween is provided to both sides in the widthwise direction (x) of the top sheet (2), the flap sheet (5) has a base section (6) provided facing the top sheet (2) and an upright section (7) extending from the base section (6) and formed folded back at the inner end in the widthwise direction (x) of the base section (6), the central region (C) and end region (E) of the base section (6) are joined to the top sheet (2) and/or back sheet (3) at the inside in the widthwise direction (x) with respect to the intermediate region (M), and the upright section (7) is joined to the base section (6) at the end region (E).
