An absorbent article (1) provided with waistline parts (30, 40) having a vertical direction and a horizontal direction orthogonal to each other, the waistline parts (30, 40) being aligned with the horizontal direction, and the waistline parts (30, 40) having a nonwoven cloth and a plurality of elastic members (35, 45) for expanding and contracting in the horizontal direction, wherein openings are provided between elastic members (35, 45) adjacent in the vertical direction in the waistline parts (30, 40) in a state in which the waistline parts (30, 40) are extended along the horizontal direction, high-density regions (H) are present between the openings and the elastic members (35, 45) on one side among the adjacent elastic members (35, 45) in the vertical direction, outside regions (E) are present between the high-density regions (H) and the elastic members (35, 45) on the one side, the high-density regions (H) have a predetermined length in the horizontal direction, the density of fibers of the nonwoven cloth in the high-density regions (H) is higher than the density of fibers of the nonwoven cloth in the outside regions (E), and non-fused parts in which fibers are not fused together are provided in at least a portion of edges of the openings (50).
