Abstract:
An absorbent article (1) has, in at least a portion of the crotch region thereof, a longitudinal folding guiding part (13) that is thicker than regions of both outsides in a longitudinal direction and that guides protruding and folding to a skin side at the center in the width direction of an absorbent core (11), wherein a pair of first compression parts (24) long in the longitudinal direction are arranged on both sides in the width direction, a pair of second compression parts (25) long in the longitudinal direction are arranged outward in the width direction, and the first compression parts (24) are arranged at positions closer to the center of the absorbent core (11) than to the ends of the absorbent core (11) in the width direction, in a cross-section obtained by cutting the crotch region in the width direction.
