Abstract:

The purpose of the present invention is to make a rear portion of an absorbent article easily deformable along a body shape and to achieve improved fitting. A skin-side surface of a rear portion of an absorbent body (4) is formed with a predetermined pattern of upper surface-side concave grooves (10) which are recessed on a non-skin side, and with a plurality of partitioned absorbent portions (11) partitioned by the upper surface-side concave grooves (10). A posterior groove-corresponding concave groove (12) recessed on a skin side is formed in a non-skin-side surface of the rear portion of the absorbent body (4), at a position corresponding to the posterior groove. The upper surface-side concave grooves (10) comprise: a plurality of longitudinal concave grooves (13) which follow a substantially longitudinal direction of a sanitary napkin (1) and are arranged at intervals in a width direction; and a plurality of widthwise concave grooves (14) which follow a substantially width direction of the sanitary napkin (1) and arranged at intervals in the longitudinal direction. The longitudinal concave grooves (13) are formed radially inclined toward the outside in the width direction while extending from the front toward the rear of the sanitary napkin (1).
