Abstract:
An absorbent article comprising an absorbent core and a core wrap sheet. The absorbent core has: a front core section and a rear core section that are positioned on both ends in the longitudinal direction; and a narrow intermediate core section formed between a pair of narrow regions, in an intermediate section in the longitudinal direction. The intermediate core section includes: a high-basis-weight section formed in the center in the width direction; and a pair of low-basis-weight sections having a lower basis weight than the high-basis-weight section and being formed around the high-basis-weight section. The core wrap sheet has: a core-covering section that covers the absorbent core; and pair of narrow covering sections that cover the pair of narrow regions.
