Abstract:
[Problem] To prevent detachment and associated tearing of an obverse-surface sheet when non-heat-fusible fibers are used in the obverse-surface sheet. [Solution] An absorber 4 is interposed between an obverse-surface sheet 3 and a reverse-surface sheet 2, and side sheets 7 are arranged on both sides along the longitudinal direction. The obverse-surface sheet 3 contains non-heat-fusible fibers, and the side sheets 7 contain a heat-fusible resin. A side flap SF in which the side sheet 7, the obverse-surface sheet 3, the side sheet 7, and the reverse-surface sheet 2 are stacked from the skin side is formed by interposing the obverse-surface sheet 3 between the stacked side sheets 7, 7 on the widthwise outer side from the absorber 4. A fused portion 10 in which the sheets forming the side flap SF are integrally heat-fused is provided in a region of the side flap SF that includes at least the front and rear end portions of a sanitary napkin 1.
