Abstract:
[Problem] To provide an absorbent article capable of further suppressing the occurrence of unpleasant odor after absorption of bodily fluids. [Solution] This absorbent article is characterized by having a liquid-permeable top sheet disposed on the skin-facing side, a liquid-impermeable back sheet disposed on the outer surface side, and an absorbent body disposed between the top sheet and the back sheet, and by being configured such that the absorbent body has a water absorbing layer containing an absorbent resin powder, fumaric acid is present at a position which may contact a bodily fluid absorbed in the absorbent article, and a polyphenol compound is present on the skin-facing side of the back sheet.
