Abstract:
This absorption agent contains water, an amine compound, and an organic solvent, and the value obtained after subtracting the solubility parameter of the organic solvent from the solubility parameter of the amine compound is 1.1 (cal/cm3)1/2 or greater and 4.2 (cal/cm3)1/2 or less. This method for separation and recovery of an acidic compound is provided with: a step of having the acidic compound absorbed by the absorption agent by having the absorption agent contact a mixed gas containing the acidic compound; a step of performing phase separation of the absorption agent that absorbed the acidic compound into a first phase with a high acidic compound content and a second phase with a low acidic compound content; and a step of releasing the acidic compound from the first phase by heating the first phase.
