Abstract:

The invention provides a highly efficient absorption chiller capable of effectively recovering an outside heat source and effectively recovering the internal heat. The absorption chiller comprises an evaporator, an absorber (A), condenser (C), a high temperature regenerator (GH), a low temperature regenerator (GL), a low temperature solution heat exchanger (LX), a high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX), and an absorption solution path and a refrigerant solution path which connect these components. The absorption chiller is provided with a path in the form of a dilute solution supply passage leading from the absorber (A) into the high temperature regenerator (GH) and branching into two. One path is provided with a drain heat exchanger (DX) for heat exchange between the dilute solution in the path and the waste heat source after the heating of the high temperature regenerator (GH). The other path is provided with a first high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX1) and a second high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX2) which are used for heat exchange between the dilute solution in the path and thick solution heated and concentrated by the high temperature regenerator (GH). The dilute solution flows through the first high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX1) and the second high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX2) in the order mentioned, while the thick solution from the high temperature regenerator (GH) flows through the second high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX2) and the first high temperature solution heat exchanger (HX1) in the order mentioned.
