Abstract:

A Double-effect absorption type refrigerating machine for supplying refrigerant vapor generated in a high-temperature regenerator to a low-temperature regenerator (12) for condensing and supplying the refrigerant liquefied by the condensing to a condenser (11), wherein an orifice (71) and a control valve (81) are installed, as pressure regulating means, on a piping (7) for supplying the refrigerant liquefied in the low-temperature regenerator (12) to the condenser (11). A control circuit (9) is connected to the control valve (81) to keep the valve (81) fully open during a startup-to-stabilized load period and gradually throttle the opening of the valve (81) after load stabilization. Alternatively, a control valve (118) is installed on the piping (7) to control pressure so that the concentration of an absorption liquid (intermediate liquid) in the high-temperature regenerator is equal to an average value of the concentration of an absorption liquid (concentrated liquid) in the low-temperature regenerator (12) and that of an absorption liquid (dilute liquid) in an absorber. The above arrangement provides a higher efficiency than ever independently of a refrigerating load.
