Abstract:
An AC-DC conversion device provided with a rectifier that rectifies the voltage from an AC power supply, a reactor that is inserted between the AC power supply and the rectifier, a smoothing unit that smooths the voltage output by the rectifier, and a two-way switch that shunts or opens a circuit between the input terminals of the rectifier by means of an opening and closing operation. Overcurrent detection units 371 and 372, which detect whether or not the current flowing to the two-way switch is equal to or exceeds a threshold value, are provided inside the two-way switch.
