Abstract:
An AC drive type plasma display comprises (A) a first substrate (11), (B) a second substrate (21), (C) first electrodes (13) formed on the first substrate (11) and extending in a first direction, (D) first projections (22A) and second projections (22B) extending in a second direction different from the first direction, (E) a second electrode (23) formed on the top of the first projection (22A), (F) a fluorescent layer (26) formed between the first projection (22A) and the second projection (22B) positioned on both sides of the first projection (22A) and emitting the same color, and (G) a discharge gas filling the space formed between the first substrate and the second substrate.
