Abstract:

An AC electric machine for vehicle comprises an AC electric machine body (100) having a rotor (10) provided with a first rotary shaft (12) rotatably supported by a pair of bearings (16 and 17), a rotor core (8) fixed to the first rotary shaft (12), and a field winding (9) wound around the rotor core (8), a stator (3) provided with a stator core (1) opposed to the rotor (10) and a multi−phase stator coil (2) wound around the stator core (1), and a bracket (80) supporting the pair of bearings (16 and 17) and the stator (3), and a rotational position sensor (20) for control having a second rotary shaft (30) coupled with the first rotary shaft (12) via large magnetic reluctance portions (32 and 33), a second rotor (21) fixed to the second rotary shaft (30), and a second stator coil (22a) for generating the output voltage because of the rotation of the second rotor (21).
