Abstract:
In order to provide in particular an AC motor control device that will enable an easy setting-up of the quantity of state of an AC motor, which changes nonlinearly according to the driven state of the motor, and which will enable the use of that quantity of state to control motors; a quantity-of-state calculation unit (13, 13a, 13b, 13c) is provided, which will calculate the quantity of state that corresponds with the coil flux linkage, an internal amount of the motor; and the setting value for the coil flux linkage that is to be defined on either the d-axis or the q-axis, which are the two axes intersecting at right angles within the motor's rotating coordinate system, is calculated by a function expression that uses a current to be defined on that same axis, and also calculated by a function expression that uses a state variable defined on the other axis.
