Provided is an AC motor control device capable of realizing stable operation not depending on the motor type or the load condition. The AC motor control device controls d-q axis current according to a speed instruction frequency so as to obtain an instructed speed. The control device includes: a d-axis current adjusting unit (24) for adjusting the d-axis current instruction according to a magnetic flux estimation value; a d-axis current adjusting gain calculation unit (241) which calculates the d-axis current adjusting gain; and a frequency gain calculation unit (251) which calculates a frequency gain of the frequency adjusting unit for adjusting a primary frequency according to the magnetic flux estimation value.
