ACCELERATED TEST METHOD FOR DETERMINING OPTICAL MATERIAL LASER IRRADIATION AGING LIFE

Abstract:
An accelerated test method for determining an optical material laser irradiation aging life, the test method comprising: processing a material to conform to a shape and size required for laser calorimetric absorption testing; performing polishing treatment on a sample surface, performing pre-irradiation and laser irradiation on the material, and obtaining laser irradiation absorption aging coefficients at different energy densities; using the absorption aging coefficients to fit an absorption aging acceleration ratio curve of the material as the energy density changes; according to actual working conditions, using the absorption aging acceleration ratio curve to calculate the time required for a laser irradiation test. Via the present method, within a relatively short time, a reasonable accelerated assessment of the laser irradiation aging life is implemented by increasing the irradiation energy density. The present method solves the problems of a long time being spent when the service life of an optical element is tested, manpower and materials being wasted, and it not being possible to determine an acceleration ratio when an accelerated test method is used, and achieves the goal of saving assessment time and resources such as manpower and materials.
