Abstract:
An acceleration detection device and method of setting the sensitivity of the device, comprising a compression coil spring having a nonlinear deflection-load characteristic, wherein the setting of sensitivity of the acceleration detection device is performed by adjusting the characteristics of a compression coil spring such as the spring constant and initial load of the compression coil spring and also adjusting the dimensions of a mass body in the shaft sliding direction.
