Title:
ACCELERATION SENSOR, AND AVIAN INFLUENZA MONITORING SYSTEM
Document Type and Number:
WIPO Patent Application WO/2008/072705
Kind Code:
A1
Abstract:
Intended is to provide an acceleration sensor or the like capable of reducing the power requirements while reducing the size and weight. The acceleration sensor (210A) is constituted by connecting a plurality of piezoelectric material units (212) having a deformable member (211) deformed according to an acceleration applied, in series, and by connecting a signal processing circuit (213) with the piezoelectric material unit (212) at a predetermined position. To the signal processing circuit (213), there is applied a voltage according to the number of the piezoelectric material units (212), from the ground side acting as a reference potential to the piezoelectric material unit (212) connected with that signal processing circuit (213). If that voltage exceeds a preset voltage, a signal to turn ON the signal processing circuit (213) is outputted. On the basis of this signal, the acceleration can be digitally measured.
