Abstract:
The purpose of the invention is to find the acceleration in both left and right directions of a gait state from sensor values of an acceleration sensor using simple arithmetic processing, such as the four arithmetic operations. An acceleration sensor output processing program executes, on a computer, acceleration sensor output processing that generates acceleration magnitudes for both the left and right directions from sensor values, detected during walking, of a three-axis acceleration sensor, wherein the acceleration sensor output processing has: a step of generating a cross product of a gravity component vector extracted from the sensor value with a low pass filter and an oscillation component vector extracted by a high pass filer; a step of finding a first value corresponding to the magnitude of the cross product; a step of determining the gait cycle of odd numbered strides and the gait cycle of even numbered strides; and a step of generating an acceleration magnitude for both the left and right directions, corresponding to the determination result, by inverting the sign of the first value.
