Abstract:

Provided is a highly reliable acceleration sensor that is necessary to measure or detect vibration of an electronic apparatus having a mechanical drive source. The piezoelectric acceleration sensor includes: a vibrator that includes a piezoelectric body; a circuit board that amplifies an output charge of the piezoelectric body, said output charge being generated due to bending vibration of the vibrator; and a sensor housing, which houses the vibrator and the circuit board, and is composed of a highly conductive material. The circuit board includes one or two extending regions, which mechanically and electrically connect the circuit board and the vibrator to each other, and are formed to protrude from one side of the circuit board. The sensor housing includes a supporting table that supports the vibrator, and a recessed portion is formed in the supporting table. It is configured such that the recessed portion is covered with the extending regions of the circuit board, and the vibrator is fixed and supported by means of an insulating adhesive applied to a space formed by the recessed portion and the extending regions.
