Abstract:
An engine control device, comprising an accelerator dial (31) setting an engine speed, a main controller (32) outputting engine speed command signals according to the set values input from the accelerator dial (31), and an accelerator actuator (33) operating a mechanical governor (35) of a diesel engine (34) according to the engine speed command signals from the main controller (32); the accelerator actuator (33) comprising a driver circuit (41) receiving the engine speed command signals capable of controlling an electronic governor (37) of the other diesel engine (36) and outputting drive signals, a governor drive mechanism (42) for driving the mechanical governor which is operated by the drive signals from the driver circuit (41), and a potentiometer (43) detecting the amount of operation of the governor drive mechanism (42) for feedback to the driver circuit (41), whereby the engine speed command signals corresponding to the electronic governor can also be used commonly by the mechanical governor (35).
