Abstract:
An accelerator device (100, 100a) is provided with: a pad (200) that receives an input by a driver; a case (300) that can be mounted to a vehicle body and that has a front surface wall (310) opposing the pad; an internal movable mechanism (400) that is housed in the case and that includes a shaft (410) rotatably supported by the case and a pedal (420) extending outward from the outer circumferential part of the shaft; and an arm (500) that couples the pad and the pedal in a state where the arm penetrates through an opening part (312) provided to the front surface wall. The front surface wall has a buffer member (600) that is held between the front surface wall and the arm or the pedal when the accelerator comes to a state of being fully closed and that is held between the front surface wall and the pad when the accelerator comes into a fully opened state.
