Abstract:
Provided are an accelerator loading method and system. The method comprises: an accelerator loading apparatus acquiring an acceleration requirement, wherein the acceleration requirement comprises an acceleration function of a virtual machine to be created and an acceleration performance of the virtual machine to be created; the accelerator loading apparatus determining a target accelerator satisfying the acceleration function of the virtual machine to be created and the acceleration performance of the virtual machine to be created; and the accelerator loading apparatus determining an image corresponding to the target accelerator, and sending an image loading command to a target host where the target accelerator is located, wherein the image loading command is used for making the target host load the image to the target accelerator according to the image loading command. By means of the present invention, according to an acceleration function and an acceleration performance required by a virtual machine to be created, a target host which can create the virtual machine can be determined, and an image for acceleration can be loaded to an available accelerator of the target host, thereby achieving the dynamic loading and deployment of an accelerator.
