Abstract:
The purpose of the present invention is to provide an accelerator operating error prevention device for automobile, with which it is possible to easily carry out a braking operation and an acceleration operation upon the same footplate without switching feet, and to prevent an accident caused by an accelerator operating error by an accelerator action being automatically cut out even when having carried out the braking operation as is during the acceleration operation. Provided is an accelerator operating error prevention device for automobile, comprising: a brake pedal movable footplate which is coupled to a brake lever; and an accelerator lever movable tread part which is joined to the brake pedal movable footplate, which comprises a thrust propagation member capable of changing between a propagation state and a non-propagation state of thrust to the accelerator lever, and which is configured to be capable of being coupled at least to the accelerator lever via the thrust propagation member.
