Abstract:
An access control apparatus is disclosed. One embodiment of the present invention provides an access control apparatus for controlling passage, the access control apparatus comprising: a gate main body installed on a passageway; an opening/closing part provided with a folding arm coupled to the gate main body so as to open/close the passageway; and a drive part provided to the gate main body and controlling the operation of the opening/closing part, wherein the folding arm comprises a first link of which one end is rotatably coupled to the gate main body, and a second link of which one end is coupled to the gate main body so as to be capable of linearly moving by means of the drive part, and the other end is foldably coupled to the other end of the first link. According to the present invention, a door driving speed of the access control apparatus may be increased, the installation width of the access control apparatus may be reduced, and the installation width of the access gate may be configured in various ways.
