An access control management method and system. The method comprises the following steps: S1: generating an identification code, wherein the identification code comprises selected information about an intended authorization door (6) selected by an owner terminal (2); S2: a tenant terminal (3) reading the identification code, and submitting an authorization application, wherein the authorization application comprises the identification code and identity information about the tenant terminal; and S3: the owner terminal verifying and passing the authorization application, and submitting an authorization confirmation, and a cloud platform (1) completing the authorization according to the authorization confirmation. In the access control management method and system, an owner terminal and a tenant terminal complete application and authorization operations on their own, thereby reducing management costs and improving management efficiency.
