Abstract:
An access control management method using a public key infrastructure, comprising: performing a room reservation process to generate an order; capturing a user image by means of an image acquisition module; analyzing the user image to generate at least one feature value of a biological image in the user image; encrypting the feature value with a private key of an electronic device to form encrypted information; and outputting the order and the encrypted information to a room reservation server upon completion of the room reservation process. Thereby, an access control device can decrypt the encrypted information from the room reservation server by means of the public key of the electronic device from the room reservation server to obtain a first feature value, and perform an identification process via the first feature value and the electronic device. In addition, the access control device can perform a verification process by means of the electronic device and the public key. The access control device unlocks an electronic lock when the verification process and the identification process are passed.
