Abstract:
Provided are an access method and a related device. After a network device sends a contention resolution message to a terminal device, if the network device confirms that a target ACK sent by the terminal device is not received on an uplink carrier, the network device sends a first uplink grant message to the terminal device on a digital data transmission carrier. The terminal device can send a first message to the network device on the digital data transmission carrier according to the first uplink grant message. In this way, the network device can confirm, according to the first message received on the digital data transmission carrier, whether a contention problem is successfully solved by the terminal device, so as to prevent an access failure caused by the omission of a target ACK, thereby improving the access success rate of the terminal device.
