Abstract:
Disclosed is an accumulation roller assembly for a clean room. The accumulation roller of the present invention comprises shaft (30); cylindrical accumulation roller (20) mounted to and rotated around said shaft to support conveyed objects; sprocket (10) which transmits torque from the chain of a conveying apparatus to said accumulation roller; and compression unit (40) which compresses sprocket (10) and accumulation roller (20). In sprocket (10), toothed protrusions are formed in the outer circumference of a cylindrical member. One lateral surface of sprocket (10) appears as a curved line in cross section and protrudes towards accumulation roller (20). From a lateral view, sprocket (10) includes circular convex member (2), and accumulation roller (20) includes circular concave member (22). Concave member (22) is shaped on the surface facing circular convex member (12) to correspond to circular convex member (12) and its cross section is triangular. Since the circular convex member is inserted in the circular concave member and compressed therein by the compression unit, the sprocket and accumulation roller linearly contact each other. Therefore, the present invention provides a conveying apparatus for a clean room with reduction of particles between the sprocket and accumulation roller.
