Abstract:
Provided is an accumulator designed to reduce the number of assembling steps, the weight, the costs and the like of the accumulator by reducing the number of parts thereof, and capable of increasing the moisture absorption rate of a desiccant to effectively absorb moisture contained in a refrigerant. A desiccant container (desiccant storage portion) 50 containing a desiccant M is fixedly disposed below an inlet 15 so as to be opposed to the inlet 15, wherein a refrigerant flowing into a tank 10 from the inlet 15 is accepted from an upper surface side (circulation port 61 which is an upper surface opening) and caused to flow downward.
