Abstract:
Provided are an acidic cleaner composition having excellent detergency with respect to stubborn complex stains containing fatty acid calcium soap and sebum adhered to a hard surface such as that of a bathroom or a toilet, and a method for removing complex stains containing fatty acid calcium soap and sebum. The present invention provides an acidic cleaner composition containing (a) a positive ionic surfactant (hereafter referred to as component (a)), (b) one or more acid agents selected from organic carboxylic acids having a first acid dissociation constant pKa 1 of at least 1 but less than 7 and organic phosphonic acids having a first acid dissociation constant pKa 1 of at least 1 but less than 7 (hereafter referred to as component (b)), and water. The mass ratio (b)/(a) between the component (a) content and the component (b) content is from 0.1 to 7. The pH value of the acid cleaner composition at 20°C is greater than 2.0 but is no more than 6.0.
