Abstract:
An acidic gas separation module having a nonwoven fabric, a facilitated transport membrane, a carrier diffusion suppression layer, and a member for a feed gas flow path. The facilitated transport membrane is formed inside the nonwoven fabric or, alternatively, the inside of the nonwoven fabric is filled with the facilitated transport membrane. The carrier diffusion suppression layer and the membrane for the feed gas flow path are arranged so as to sandwich the nonwoven fabric. As a result, an acidic gas separation module is provided that has good durability and is capable of holding a facilitated transport membrane even during high-pressure operation.
