Abstract:
An acoustic device according to the present technique is provided with an operation unit and a control unit. The operation unit generates information for determining whether the state of an earphone unit is a wearing state in which the earphone unit is worn by a user or a non-wearing state in which the earphone unit is not worn by the user. The control unit determines the wearing state or the non-wearing state on the basis of an output from the operation unit and executes a function based on the determination result.
