Abstract:
An acoustic device 1 mounted in a vehicle 5 and having: two speakers 30, 40 arranged so as to interpose therebetween a center line 11 of a seat 10, further forward than the front of a driver 20 being an occupant sitting in the seat 10; a position detection unit 70 that detects the relative position of a driver 20 and the two speakers 30, 40; and a control unit 100 that controls the characteristics of sound output from each speaker 30, 40, on the basis of the relative position detected by the position detection unit 70, so as to maintain a stereophonic sound image caused by sound output from the two speakers 30, 40.
