Abstract:
This acoustic lens (7) for an ultrasonic transducer is to be disposed at a front end of an ultrasonic transducer (1), has a concave front surface (C1), and is formed of a base material (B) in which a plurality of fine particles (G) are dispersed. The degree of dispersion of the fine particles (G) becomes higher from the central part toward both ends in the elevation direction, thereby causing acoustic velocity to decrease from the central part toward both ends in the elevation direction.
