Abstract:
An acoustic resonator, provided with: a tubular member having a hollow region and resonating at a plurality of resonance frequencies including a first resonance frequency, a second resonance frequency, and another resonance frequency other than the first resonance frequency and the second resonance frequency; a sound absorber resonating at the second resonance frequency, the sound absorber being provided in a region at the antinode of the sound pressure distribution in a standing wave of the second resonance frequency; and a sound absorption material provided in the region, in the hollow region, at the antinode of the particle velocity distribution in a standing wave of the other resonance frequency.
