Abstract:

Provided is an acoustic transducer device that is worn on a listener's ear for use and that is small in size and light in weight and that excellently prevents the re-reflection of sound waves. An acoustic transducer device 100 comprises a cylindrical acoustic transducer element 101 constituted by an elastic film-shaped material. The cylindrical acoustic transducer element 101 also serves as a sound guide tube and, when having generated sound waves, suppresses the re-reflection of the sound waves as reflected by the eardrum, thereby preventing a phenomenon of "inside-the-head localization" in audibility and also preventing a sense of oppression. Further, since the acoustic transducer element 101 is small in size and light in weight, the acoustic transducer element 101, when worn by a person on the ear, provides no sense of foreign substance to the person, and can generate sound waves that directly reach the eardrum or can pick up sounds near the eardrum.
