Abstract:
Provided is an acoustic wave device that is capable of achieving miniaturization and high productivity. An acoustic wave device 10 is provided with: a piezoelectric substrate 2 (substrate having piezoelectricity); a first bandpass type filter 1A (first filter) that has a first passband and that is formed on the piezoelectric substrate 2; and a second bandpass type filter 1B (second filter) that has a second passband on the high frequency side of the first passband and that is formed on the piezoelectric substrate 2. The first bandpass type filter 1A and the second bandpass type filter 1B each have a resonator that includes an IDT electrode. When the average value of the duty ratios of all the IDT electrodes is defined as a first all-averaged duty ratio and the average value of the duty ratios of all the IDT electrodes in the second filter is defined as a second all-averaged duty ratio, the first all-averaged duty ratio is larger than the second all-averaged duty ratio.
