Abstract:
Provided is an acoustic wave device capable of sufficiently suppressing spurious even when a piezoelectric body having anisotropy is used. The acoustic wave device 1 is provided with: a piezoelectric body 2; a first electrode 3 provided on a first major surface 2a of the piezoelectric body 2; a second electrode 4 provided on a second major surface 2b thereof; an acoustic reflector having an air gap G; and a mass-providing film 6 provided on the first electrode 3 and the second electrode 4, and on at least one of outer sides of the first electrode 3 or the second electrode 4. When viewed in plan, a region in which at least one of the first electrode and the mass-providing film overlaps the second electrode includes a first region and a second region surrounding the first region. In the second region, the mass-providing film 6 has different configurations between mass-providing film portions 6b, 6d on both sides, in a first direction A, in the plane of the piezoelectric body 2, and mass-providing film portions 6a, 6c on both sides in a second direction B.
