Abstract:
Provided is an acoustic wave diagnosis device for reducing the time for obtaining a color image and a control method therefor. Of a plurality of ultrasonic transducers (20-32) included in an ultrasonic probe, the same ultrasonic transducers (22-28) are caused to perform a process of transmitting ultrasonic pulses (43) focused on a focus position (41) from the ultrasonic transducers in the same direction of a subject multiple times while sequentially updating the ultrasonic transducers that are driven. An ultrasonic echo (44) of a position of an object to be observed (42) is received by the ultrasonic transducers (22-28), whereby an acoustic wave echo signal group is obtained. An autocorrelation operation is performed from a signal obtained by correcting a positional displacement of the acoustic wave echo signal group due to a positional displacement between the focus position (41) and the position of the object to be observed (42), and from an ultrasonic echo signal with no positional displacement, and a Doppler shift signal that indicates a speed of the position of the object to be observed (42) is generated.
