Abstract:
[Problem] To obtain an acoustic wave diagnosis device readily able to acquire and display accurate information pertaining to blood vessels and blood flow. [Solution] An acoustic wave diagnosis device provided with a function for displaying an acoustic wave image of a subject using a B-mode, and with a blood flow rate display function using a D-mode; wherein a photoacoustic imaging means (constituted of a laser light source (23), ultrasonic probe (10), receiver circuit (13), and the like) for acquiring photoacoustic data illustrating a photoacoustic image of the subject is provided. Also provided is a means (for example, a D-mode signal generation unit (32)) for determining, on the basis of photoacoustic data pertaining to a blood vessel portion obtained by the photoacoustic imaging means, a parameter for acquiring information pertaining to the blood flow rate in the D-mode.
