Abstract:
Provided are an acoustic wave diagnostic apparatus capable of reducing a burden on a user and simply obtaining a final measurement value, and a method for controlling the acoustic wave diagnostic apparatus. An ultrasonic diagnostic apparatus (1) is provided with: an image memory (9); an operation unit (18) for input operation by a user; a measurement item designation reception unit (15) that receives designation of a measurement item from the user; a detection measurement algorithm setting unit (12) that sets a detection measurement algorithm in accordance with a measurement item; a frame designation reception unit (17) that receives, from the user, designation of a frame to be used for measurement, from among a plurality of frames in the image memory (9); a measurement position designation reception unit (16) that receives, from the user, designation of the position of a measurement object on a first measurement frame received by the frame designation reception unit (17); a measurement position setting unit (10) that calculates a movement amount of an acoustic wave image between a plurality of frames and sets the position of the measurement object in a frame other than the first measurement frame on the basis of the movement amount and the position of the measurement object; a measurement unit (11) that detects the measurement object in the plurality of frames on the basis of the position of the measurement object and the detection measurement algorithm and calculates measurement values; and a final measurement value calculation unit (13) that calculates a final measurement value from the measurement value in the first measurement frame and the measurement value in a second measurement frame set on the basis of the plurality of measurement values.
