Abstract:
An acoustic wave element is provided with: an IDT electrode (21) which has a piezoelectric substrate (100), a first comb-shaped electrode (21a), and a second comb-shaped electrode (21b); and reflectors (32L, 32R). The reflectors (32L, 32R) are configured from a first reflective busbar electrode (320a) and a second reflective busbar electrode (320b), respectively, and a plurality of reflective electrode fingers (321). The first comb-shaped electrode (21a) is configured from a first busbar electrode (210a) connected to the first reflective busbar electrode (320a), and a plurality of first electrode fingers (211a). A second comb-shaped electrode (21b) is configured from a second busbar electrode (210b), and a plurality of second electrode fingers (211b). A connection electrode (411) that electrically connects the reflective electrode fingers (321) and the first electrode fingers (211a) is formed in an opposing area (OA), in which the reflective electrode fingers (321) and the first electrode fingers (211a) that are adjacent in an acoustic wave propagation direction (WT) oppose each other.
