Abstract:
Provided is an acrylate copolymer miniemulsion for a heavy anti-corrosion coating, composed of butyl acrylate, styrene, methyl methacrylate, methyl acrylate, an initiator, an anionic emulsifier, a phosphate emulsifier, deionized water, a pH regulator and a film-forming adjuvant. A preparation method for the emulsion is mixing deionized water with a part of the emulsifiers in a reaction kettle, then preparing an initiator solution and a pre-emulsion respectively, and finally dropwise adding the initiator solution and the pre-emulsion to the reaction kettle simultaneously for reaction. The acrylate copolymer miniemulsion prepared by employing a semi-continuous dropwise adding method has a relatively small particle size, good water resistance, salt spray resistance and salt water resistance, and is suitable for preparing an aqueous heavy anti-corrosion coating.
