Abstract:
The present invention provides multilayer acrylic polymer coagulates. The multilayer acrylic polymer coagulates are characterized by having a bulk density of 0.3–0.6 g/cm3 and a median diameter of 50–400 μm. The multilayer acrylic polymer coagulates are also characterized in that no more than 50% of particles have a particle diameter of 75 μm or shorter and in that the alkali metals and alkali earth metals contained therein satisfy formula (1). (1) Σ(N/a)×(120-Tg)≤100, N being the amount (mmol/kg) of the alkali metals and alkali earth metals contained in the coagulates, Tg being the glass transition temperature (°C) of an acetone-soluble fraction, and a being the valence of the alkali metals and alkali earth metals contained in the coagulates.
