Abstract:
An acrylic sol composition characterized by comprising (a) fine acrylic polymer particles, (b) a block polyurethane, (c) one or more polyamine compounds comprising at least one member selected from the group consisting of modifications of a polyetherpolyamine represented by the following formula (I), (d) a plasticizer, and (e) a filler. The composition generates neither hydrogen chloride nor dioxins upon incineration. It has excellent storage stability and can cure even at relatively low temperatures. It gives a coating film excellent in adhesion to substrates, cold resistance, and strength. (I) (In the formula, X represents a residue formed by removing m hydroxy groups from a di- to hexahydric polyol; A represents C2-4 alkylene; B represents C1-4 alkylene; m is 2 to 6; and n is 0 to 50, provided that the two or more A's, B's, and n's present in the same molecule each may be the same or different.)
