Abstract:
This invention relates to an action control device and action control method, an imaging device, and a program, that can reduce focus lag. During monitoring, an ND filter control unit (22) applies a minimum voltage to a liquid crystal ND filter (44), and an aperture control unit (23) opens and closes an aperture (42) so as to correspond to an appropriate degree of illumination calculated by an illumination calculation unit (24). During imaging preparation or during imaging, the ND filter control unit (22) applies to the liquid crystal ND filter (44) an applied voltage that provides a transmittance that corresponds to the appropriate degree of illumination calculated by the illumination calculation unit (24), and the aperture control unit (23) controls the aperture (42) to a fully open state. This technology can be applied to an imaging device.
